4TH STREET BOYNTON MARKETPLACE STUDY

4th Street Boynton Marketplace was envisioned as a placemaking study exploring adaptive reuse, community activation, and experiential retail. The team developed a comprehensive design and planning concept to transform the site into a vibrant outdoor dining and entertainment destination curated for connection, culture, and creativity.
At the heart of the concept is a flexible open-air lawn anchored by a performance stage, creating an energetic venue for live music, social gatherings, and community events. Repurposed shipping containers establish the project’s modular architectural language, housing culinary vendors and support spaces. These units double as curated art canvases, featuring large-scale murals and rotating installations that bring vibrancy, identity, and cultural energy to the marketplace.
